Cervantes Family Vineyards
Cervantes Family Vineyards is a family-run winery in the beautiful foothills of St. Helena, California. Membership means more than the three-bottle wine allocation. Experience everything the property has to offer, including horseback rides, picnics by the pond, and lunch in a tree-lined grove across their 1,200-acre ranch, along with tastings in the family cabin and wine dinners on the road.
This is a magical place, and the website deserved to feel that way too. The Bloom team saw an opportunity to bring the brand's authentic, family-first spirit forward, using the property's stunning photography and rich color palette to tell the story of place. Paired with a move off an aging membership management system, the redesign provided a better member experience and let the beauty and story of Cervantes shine.
SOPHISTICATION MEETS THE VINEYARD
The goal was a top shelf online experience for their customers, one that felt as considered as the wine itself. The Bloom team worked with Cervantes to develop a warm, earth-toned palette anchored by a high-contrast structure of dark grays standing in for black and warm off-whites standing in for white. Into that frame went the greens and tans pulled straight from the family's own vineyard photos, plus a signature red accent line carried across the site.
Even the off-white tone was chosen on purpose. It echoes the paper Cervantes wraps every bottle in before it ships: “not cream, but just not white,” in Ana Cervantes's words, the color their customers see every time they get the wrapped bottle delivered to their door.
Leading with a sense of place, the end result feels premium: sophisticated enough for the luxury consumer, warm enough to still feel like the Cervantes ranch, and built to actually work.

ONE CLUB, SIMPLER TO RUN
The club structure had grown tangled over the years. Duplicated tiers and memberships stacking on top of each other left confused staff and customers alike, struggling to make sense of it all.
The Bloom team helped consolidate the overlapping tiers into organized groups, introduced a new tier, and moved the legacy structures into admin-only groups: visible to staff, hidden from the site. Their team now manages everything from one place, and members see one clean club, not the history behind it.
A RELEASE WITHOUT A BACK OFFICE
Cervantes runs lean. No POS, no dedicated ops team, orders often entered by hand. Charging out a release needed to be something one or two people could run with confidence, without the complexity of what they'd been running before.
Bloom Commerce's batch tools let the team build a release, skip specific members on request, and generate a pre-flight report that surfaces discounts, shipping rates, and problem orders before a single card is charged. Releases now run cleanly, with only the rare declined card needing a follow-up email. That's the kind of confidence that used to require a bigger team.
THE BRAND BEYOND THE BOTTLE
Relationships are the backbone of Cervantes Family Vineyards, not just the wine. The partnerships and gatherings that let the family share their story and their product with the world needed a spotlight of their own. That meant a way to showcase collaborations (with names like Petochi, Porsche, and Ferrari) alongside the events and experiences built on those same relationships (an Argentinian chef residency, a Día de los Muertos dinner in Mexico City, and more), all without splintering the site into disconnected pieces.
Bloom built a dedicated Collaborations section for partner products and brand pairings, and split Experiences from Events into their own sections, each with its own page template, RSVP linking, and past-event archive. One site, one cart. Every relationship, every collaboration, every gathering still gets its own clear home.
Cervantes Family Vineyards is still built on the same foundation: family, members, and the chefs and marques who share their name. The site finally delivers that experience, sophisticated where it needs to be, unmistakably Cervantes everywhere else. And the software behind it means releases, memberships, and collaborations can all run through one small but mighty team, freeing them to keep doing what Cervantes has always done best: making every customer feel like family.
