Bloom Commerce is a Shopify app that sits on top of your Shopify environment to add features important to DTC alcohol businesses that are not native to Shopify. Clubs, subscriptions, membership management, product specifications and reporting are all part of the core features. In addition, there are multiple integrations available to assist with email marketing, alcohol compliance, shipping/fulfillment services and more.

The Bloom Commerce app has many elements of setup, configuration and customization.  For this reason, the installation needs to be handled by our onboarding team, and is not self-installable.

Once installed and configured, Bloom Commerce connects your members to a unique Shopify customer record. This allows your memberships to seamlessly integrate with customer and sales reports in Shopify. Your products are used when creating member shipments, keeping your inventory levels up-to-date. Discounts for members are used for orders, or when a member purchases products directly from your website. Taxes are calculated automatically based on where the wine is shipped, and compliance reports can be generated by a combination of customer, shipping, and wine product information. Behind the scenes it's complex, but Bloom has been designed to make managing your clubs and members easy.

A typical project consists of a one-time installation and configuration fee, plus a monthly fee for using the Bloom platform based on the number of memberships and/or number of orders. More details can be found on our pricing page.

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer for this! There are too many variables in the size and complexity of the project to predict. Adding Bloom Commerce to a completed Shopify website could take as few as 4-6 weeks, whereas a full project including the website design and development could take several months.

The power of the Shopify platform is the cornerstone of our solution. For this reason, Bloom Commerce isn’t available on any other platform, and honestly, it wouldn’t be as powerful if it were.
